Mr. Cleveland founded the Winery Advisor in 2006 in response to the dramatic growth in California wineries and tasting rooms. Cleveland has broad experience in the wine industry including positions as a tasting room manager, wine sales manager, retail wine buyer and winery public relations representative. Cleveland has taught dozens of wine classes, has over 60 published wine articles and developed and hosted a wine radio program. His new book “Vino Journal” was recently published by Random House.
Cleveland’s sales training programs, specifically for tasting rooms, have proven to increase wine and club sales. The in-person class has been reformatted and is now available as a DVD program to use for repeated training of new and seasoned staff.
Barrie has over a 20 years experience in marketing and sales for major international companies and small start up businesses. His ability to understand technical processes and translate them into practical applications has contributed to his success in Internet marketing.
Cleveland studied wine business at Fresno State University and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is active in local technology and non-profit organizations. He enjoys a wide range of activities including biking, running and open water swimming.
Mr. Wade has more than 25 years in software and high-technology marketing and sales experience. Most recently, he has performed Industry marketing and technology alliances development for IBM in the Information Management division.
Jeff has extensive experience in product portfolio planning, product management, product marketing and product life cycle process development and implementation.
With a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University, he is also formally trained in Chasm theory and other marketing methodologies designed to facilitate business growth where rapid client ROI, in a fast growing global market presents unlimited opportunity. Jeff is active in local business and technology groups in the San Luis Obispo area and enjoys golf, sailing and home remodeling.
Brian Cleveland has established a successful career building organizations, processes, and development programs to increase customer satisfaction, and revenue. Brian’s unique combination of proven business savvy, technical skill and Internet marketing experience forge a strong foundation for Internet marketing success.
He has also held key management and technical positions at Datasonix, Aspen Peripherals and StorageTek (now Sun Microsystems). Brian has achieving distinction as an entrepreneur, executive, and engineer for innovative technology companies over the past 25 years.
Brian earned a BS in Engineering Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He has earned numerous awards for his work, holds six patents, and serves as an advisor for other high technology companies.
